Tuljapur – Solar High Mast Lighting
for Community Squares

In Tuljapur, public squares play a vital role in community life, hosting markets, social gatherings, and cultural events. However, these spaces lacked adequate lighting, making them unsafe and underutilized after sunset. Traditional lighting solutions were expensive to maintain and unsustainable for the area, leaving the community reliant on daylight for activities.

Fevino stepped in to address these challenges by designing and installing a solar-powered high mast lighting system tailored to meet the unique demands of Tuljapur’s bustling public areas.

The installation included six floodlights, each powered by state-of-the-art OSRAM LED technology, providing consistent and uniform brightness across large areas. The lights were powered by advanced LiFePo4 batteries with a total capacity of 84AH, ensuring long-lasting energy storage and reliability even during overcast days.

To optimize energy use, the system was equipped with an MPPT dusk-to-dawn controller that automatically dimmed the lights to 50% after six hours of operation. Dual polycrystalline solar panels with a combined capacity of 500Wp absorbed maximum sunlight during the day, making the system entirely self-sufficient. The robust six-sided luminary arms and weatherproof enclosures guaranteed durability against Tuljapur’s varying climate conditions.

The impact of this project has been profound. The marketplace now operates well into the evening, boosting local commerce and providing a safer, more vibrant space for the community. The solar-powered system has eliminated grid dependency, saving over 2000 kWh annually and significantly reducing the town’s carbon footprint. Tuljapur’s public square is now a beacon of sustainability and progress, showcasing how innovative technology can empower traditional community spaces.

Thane – Intelligent Solar High Mast
Lighting for Urban Parks

Thane’s urban parks are essential green spaces, providing recreational areas for families, fitness enthusiasts, and community gatherings. However, the lack of adequate lighting made these parks inaccessible and unsafe after dusk. The high maintenance costs and frequent failures of conventional lighting systems only added to the challenges.

To breathe life back into these spaces, Fevino installed an advanced solar high mast lighting system designed to meet the requirements of urban parks. The solution involved four 80W floodlights powered by OSRAM LEDs, known for their high lumen output and exceptional durability. The lights were housed in IP66-rated enclosures to ensure resistance against environmental wear and tear, including heavy rains and dust.

The energy to power the system was stored in a set of LiFePo4 batteries with a total capacity of 288AH, offering long operational lifespans and minimal maintenance. The system featured MPPT controllers that automated dusk-to-dawn operations and dimmed the lights during low-traffic hours to conserve energy. Solar power was generated by four polycrystalline panels with a combined capacity of 800Wp, mounted strategically to capture optimal sunlight throughout the day.

Today, Thane’s parks have been transformed into vibrant, well-lit hubs of activity. Families feel safe visiting after dark, and the parks’ extended usability has fostered a stronger sense of community. The project also eliminated the park’s reliance on grid electricity, saving thousands in energy costs annually and preventing 1.2 tons of CO2 emissions each year. By combining advanced technology with thoughtful design, Fevino has turned Thane’s parks into shining examples of sustainable urban development.

Badlapur – Semi Integrated Solar
Lighting for Residential Streets

Badlapur, a rapidly growing urban area, faced mounting challenges in providing adequate lighting for its residential streets. Outdated infrastructure and frequent power outages left roads dark and unsafe, while energy-intensive systems drove up operational costs, making traditional solutions unsustainable.

To resolve these issues, Fevino introduced semi-integrated solar streetlights designed to deliver energy-efficient, reliable illumination. Each system featured a 50W OSRAM LED light with a luminous efficacy of 140 lm/W, ensuring bright and uniform coverage across residential roads. The lighting systems were powered by inbuilt LiFePo4 batteries with a capacity of 48AH, capable of providing uninterrupted power throughout the night.

The lights were equipped with intelligent PWM controllers that automated operations from dusk to dawn and dimmed the brightness during off-peak hours to conserve energy. High-efficiency polycrystalline solar panels with a capacity of 165Wp captured sunlight during the day, ensuring a continuous energy supply. Adjustable luminary arms allowed the lights to be positioned for maximum coverage, enhancing safety and visibility for pedestrians and drivers alike.

The results have been transformative. Badlapur’s residential streets are now safe, welcoming, and energy-efficient, with reduced reliance on grid electricity. The intelligent dimming feature has further extended battery life, ensuring sustainable operations with minimal maintenance. This project has not only improved the quality of life for residents but also set a benchmark for eco-friendly urban lighting.

Palghar (Murbhe) – High Mast Lighting for Rural Centers

In the rural community of Murbhe, Palghar, the absence of reliable lighting in public areas created safety hazards and limited evening activities. With grid electricity being both unreliable and costly, the community needed an affordable and sustainable solution to improve its infrastructure.

Fevino addressed this need with the installation of a solar high mast lighting system, featuring five floodlights powered by OSRAM LEDs. Each 20W light was designed to provide focused, consistent illumination, ensuring visibility across large open areas. The system’s energy storage was handled by five LiFePo4 batteries, each with a capacity of 60AH, capable of supporting the lights during extended cloudy periods.

Solar energy was generated through five polycrystalline panels with a total capacity of 400Wp, mounted at optimal angles to maximize sunlight absorption. The PWM controllers automated the lighting cycle from dusk to dawn, with dimming functionality to optimize energy usage. Durable five-sided luminary arms and weatherproof battery enclosures ensured the system’s longevity in rural conditions.

The impact on Murbhe has been significant. Public areas are now well-lit and accessible, fostering social interactions, nighttime commerce, and a stronger sense of security. The system’s solar-powered design has eliminated operational costs and reduced carbon emissions by 1 ton annually, demonstrating the potential of sustainable technology in rural development.

Bothe – Pathway Lighting with Semi Integrated Solar Streetlights

Bothe’s unlit pathways were not only unsafe but also hindered connectivity for residents after dark. The lack of affordable and practical lighting solutions made the situation particularly challenging for this rural community.

Fevino installed semi-integrated solar streetlights that provided cost-effective, reliable lighting for the village’s pathways. Each system featured a 24W OSRAM LED light with a warm, uniform glow, powered by 30AH LiFePo4 batteries. The intelligent PWM controllers automated the lighting cycle, ensuring uninterrupted operation from dusk to dawn, while polycrystalline panels with a capacity of 100Wp captured sufficient solar energy during the day.

The illuminated pathways have transformed Bothe into a more connected and secure community. Residents can now navigate safely at night, while the solar-powered system has eliminated energy costs and saved over 500 kWh annually. By providing a sustainable and practical solution, Fevino has enhanced the quality of life in this rural village.
